Orchids – How to take care of them?
Thanks to their elegance and longevity, orchids have become an essential element of interior decoration. Cymbidium, dendrobium, Oncydium, odontoglossum and paphiopedilum (Venus's hoof), all of them available from our florists alongside the most popular one like the Phalaenopsis. The orchid is a tropical plant that needs warmth and humidity. It is very important not to let water stagnate in the pot or the cup in order to prevent the rotting of the roots. Don't panic if you see roots sticking out of the pot. In its natural state, the orchid grows on the ground on the bark of trees. The roots may dry out or turn yellow and this is normal natural phenomenon. Find all our advices on our Orchid care tips page.
